difference between java and asp.net

There are many difference between java and .net


  1. java is a language and .net is a framework.
  2. java is a product of sun and .net is a product of Microsoft.
  3. java is a language dependent but .net is a language independent(support 44 language)
  4. java is a platform independent but .net is a platform dependent.
  5. java provide much secure mechanism to create an application rather that . net .

    Descent comparison between Java and .Net. The main difference between them is, Java's API can be easily accessible while the same for .NET is not possible. One example is that Google's popular platform "Android" for mobile application is based on Java.
